Greetings!!, and Welcome to Government Medical College, Dindigul.

It is one of the leading Medical Instituitions in our State, which started to function under The Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, TamilNadu from 1st March, 2021. After the affiliation and approval, the College moved to be a center of excellence imparting training in all the specialities in the field of Medicine and Surgery and it is now one of the premier institutions in the country.

The first batch of MBBS students with the strength of 150, made their entry on 14th February, 2022. Currently this Institution hosts five batches of MBBS students (150 each), DNB – OG courses and various Paramedical Certificate Courses (Emergency Care technician, Anesthesia technician, Dailysis technician, theatre technician, Ortho technician, MPHW).

With various trained faculties and Clinicians with their sincere and dedicated work, make this Instituition to stand with a pride to produce Doyens in the field of Medicine.
